Kinley is such a sweet, well-behaved and loving little girl. She very energetic for her age and playful too. She really loves the outdoors and could sit in the sun on the lanai for hours on a nice day. She is super loving and likes to cuddle and sit with you on the couch or nap all afternoon. She loves her pets and scratches and would make anyone a really great companion!
Kinley gets along fine with her two foster sibling doxies. She does get a bit jealous for attention once in a while. Although there are no big dogs in her foster home, in the neighborhood, she reacts just fine to them. Not big on barking, she barks less than her foster siblings. It is unknown as to whether or not she has been exposed to cats.
Very small children are likely not a good fit for this little one. Older kids are fine and calm, supervised children are probably fine in shorter increments. She’s not food or toy aggressive. She gets a little jealous when she wants attention but nothing too bad.
Kinley is good on a leash but tends to pull pretty hard so a halter/harness is best for walks. She was raised with puppy pads but she is really good at going outside. Pads are best though if you are leaving her alone for more than a couple hours.
She loves to burrow under the covers or under her own blanket on the bed. She’s a good sleeper at night. During the day, Kinley will also use her dog bed.
She’s had a full Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal) with Low Rider. She was fixed and had teeth removed very recently but she is doing very well and is very healthy and energetic.
Adoptable Mix Kinley 11 yrs – 9 lbs
A real people person, adoptable mix Kinley is terrific with meeting new people. She’s a very friendly little girl. If you’re looking for a dog who is willing to accompany you on adventures around town, she could be your girl.
She is fine with new dogs but can be a bit smothering to them pretty quick! She sometimes annoys them. She’s independent and likes to do her own thing, but she is not shy at all.
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
