Adoptable mix Frankie is joy to be around, he is all puppy and loves to play with other dogs, but will also play by himself after exhausting his playmates. Will chew on everything including your clothes if not watched. He still has puppy teeth so he is teething.
We are working on house training and he does good for being only 11 weeks. Just make sure he is outside as soon as he wakes or is done eating. I don’t know about steps but he’s a champ with a ramp. He thinks it’s his own personal sliding board on the way down. He likes to slide on his belly.
I think he would do best with other small dogs to play with. He will need work with the leash but he learns very quick . My only problem was if he didn’t want to go where I did he would try to pull away. He is very smart and learns quickly. He will make an awesome companion for someone willing to work with him.
In our care they have received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Spay or Neuter, Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication
Every dog who is rescued by Low Rider is fully vetted and receives the care they need to gain a new “leash” on life! If you can assist with vetting expenses, it is greatly appreciated!

Adoptable mix Frankie is adorable to watch as he plays with his toys. He’s learning quickly how to be a dog but still has plenty of puppy left in him. He will need additional training but is rapidly becoming used to leash walking and house training. Frankie is a real love who enjoys cuddling. He’d love to have another dog to play with and doesn’t enjoy being crated for too long. Adoption fee $350

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
