Adoptable mix Cocoa is the sweetest little puppy around! She is about 6 months old and she definitely acts like it. Recently spayed, she is still healing but will be all better very soon. She’s ready to find her forever home!
She loves every dog and person she meets and is READY to give kisses! It’s unknown as to how she feels about cats. Most likely, she will be trainable in that department because she is very young and sweet.
Cocoa is a smart girl who has worked hard on house training. She isn’t quite there yet, but she does well on her walks and is also using puppy pads in the house sometimes. Her foster pawrents have had her sleeping in a large puppy pen at night and she does very well. She’ll nap in her little dog bed. Once fully house trained, it’s likely she would welcome sleeping in the big bed with her people.
Vetting
In our care she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication
Every dog who is rescued by Low Rider is fully vetted and receives the care they need to gain a new “leash” on life! If you can assist with vetting expenses, it is greatly appreciated!
Slight separation anxiety, she will cry and bark for a bit once fosters leave the house but generally calms down pretty quickly. She also does not like when she knows her humans are home but they are working in a separate room- she will definitely cry a bit when this happens but will also generally calm down fairly quickly. She really likes having her eyes on her people at all times so she can get some scratches and love whenever she wants!
Adoptable Mix Cocoa – 6 mos, 8 lbs
Adoptable mix Cocoa loves running around, playing with toys, making friends with other dogs, exploring the backyard, and snuggling up to her people. She has lots of puppy energy and will require an adopter who understands that and is patient and willing to help her continue learning skills like potty training! She is so close to being fully potty trained, but not quite there yet. She is so friendly to both people and other dogs and is going to make someone very happy! Adoption fee $350
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
