Adoptable mix Bob Barker is an adorable senior who has stolen the hearts of the staff at the Veterinarian’s office. He’s a happy go-lucky guy with a wagging tail! As a matter of fact, he’s pretty much a celebrity at the local Vets office!
Adoptable Mix Bob Barker
Bob Barker has heart problems and is on three heart medications. He jumps and runs when he gets excited. He likes to play with toys. Occasionally he tries to chase a foster sibling who is 1 1/2 year old dog and he really wants to keep up!
Bob Barker is friendly when meeting new people and dogs. He’s a sweet dog and though friendly, he’s also secure enough on his own. He doesn’t have anxiety, but during a recent storm during the night he was scared but seems fine during afternoon storms.
He wasn’t neutered when he arrived and has since been. He needs frequent trips outdoors and consistency. Bob Barker walks well on the leash and seems to enjoys his walks. He’ll enjoy any amount of attention and likes being with you.
Bob Barker is crate trained and sleeps in a pen at night and when no one is home. He likes his dog bed and doesn’t sleep with his fosters. He probably would be interested in that if he was encouraged to do so.
This super sweetheart is serious about his toys and his food! He’ll sometimes growl if you try to touch his bowl while he’s eating. He growls if you try to take something away from him like a toy or something he shouldn’t have.
Bob Barker – 10 years old – 17 pounds
Bob Barker is an easy dog to love. He adjusts well in a new environment and we don’t believe it will take him long to fit right in to a new home. He’s likely to steal your heart, and become your little celebrity – just like at the Vets office!
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
