Adoptable dachshund Lily is a sweet two-year-old looking for her forever family. She is a 13-pound bundle of energy! She loves to play and chase butterflies in the yard.
She is great with other dogs but it’s unknown how she is with cats in the home. Foster mom noted that she does ok with barn cats outside. We do not think Lily would be a good fit for a home with small children under 5. When introduced to new adults, she is a bit timid but warms up to them.
Lily is very affectionate. Belly rubs, kisses, and unlimited amounts of snuggles are required in her forever home. Lily is potty trained, and crate trained! This girl is happy sleeping with you or quietly in her crate. Car rides are also no problem for Lily.

She has some allergies which are well controlled on a prescription diet and medicated baths. When it was bad, she took a few allergy shots. As long as her human stays on top of baths, she should be fine. Her foster mom said she loves water and enjoys her baths! Her ideal situation would be to have a yard and other dogs to play with. She is very well socialized with other dogs.
Lily is a sweetheart who is seeking her forever family. As a young dog, she needs plenty of interaction. She’s a smart and loving girl who would love to enjoy an active lifestyle with you and go on plenty of adventures.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
