Adoptable Mix Buddy is a real snuggler, and his favorite place is in anybody’s lap! Buddy loves running through the house playing with his foster brother. They love to steal each other’s toys. Buddy enjoys walks and basking in the sun by the pool. He enjoys golf cart rides in the neighborhood and it has helped him get used to new people.
Buddy enjoys walking and sniffing as he trots along, and he is very small and easy to control. Sometimes he takes his time to do his business but he hasn’t had any accidents in the house.
Adoptable Mix Buddy prefers blankets or a pillow as his bed rather than a dog bed. He loves to snuggle so I think he would love sleeping in a bed with his humans also. The crate he sleeps in now (with door open) is in his foster’s bedroom. Buddy is an eager eater but he’s not aggressive.
Adoptable Mix Buddy – 1 year – 11 lbs
Buddy rides well in a crate in the back seat. He has been exposed to several dogs in the neighborhood, he’s fine after they sniff each other. If a new person tries to pat him on the head he backs away sometimes.
Buddy doesn’t seem anxious at all, he’s not phased by thunder. He does bark a lot when he sees strangers, he makes a good watch dog. Buddy’s foster set up a camera to watch him when she’s not home. He barks a little, but most of the time he sleeps on the couch.
Treatments
Buddy is only one year old and the vet says his previous experience living in a dog hoarding situation should not have any permanent negative effects. Adoptable Mix Buddy had his Young (between 1-4) Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Nail Trim, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication. He has alopeceia (very little hair on his ear tips).
Summary – Adoptable Mix Buddy
This beautiful, sweet, youngster is a delightful little guy. He’s a smart pup, quick to learn, and eager to please. He is a joy to be around and his foster mom has loved every minute! He would love a yard to play in and requires plenty of exercise because of his age. Of course, he requested a golf cart, but that isn’t required!!!
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
