Low Rider & Me 2023 Photo Calendar Contest – It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 whole years with Low Rider Dachshund Rescue!!! We thought it might be fun to combine our 5th Birthday Celebration with the ever popular, annual calendar photo contest!!!
Gather your best doggo pictures (dachshund or doxie wanna be) and hop over to enter. Monthly winners as well as cover shots & EVERY DOG makes it into the calendar! That’s right – every dog gets to be a super star featured in our super fun 2023 Calendar.

The Low Rider & Me 2023 – 5th Birthday Celebration Calendar Contest
All dachshund owners believe their doxie is the absolute best one…best looking, best personality, best behaved (okay, so maybe we got a little off track there with the “behaved” part…he,he) but you know what we mean. We’re challenging you to prove it! We want to see your best of the best photos in our calendar. Help us celebrate rescue and the love of all pets as well as create a fun-filled calendar to display next year as a reminder every day to “Keep Calm and Rescue On”. Just FYI, your dog does not have to be a dachshund to enter, we love Honorary Dachshunds just as much!
Your $10 entry fee includes 5 votes to start off your campaign. Then the race is on…tell your family, friends, neighbors, mailman, grocery store cashier (okay, maybe that’s a bit overboard again) but you get the idea…be your best advocate for your earned bragging rights when it’s time for the “Winner’s Circle” to be announced! Top vote earner wins the Calendar Cover and the next 12 winners win Monthly Cover Pages! Voting begins July 1.
If you choose to Reserve a Date, the entry fee is $15 and you may include a caption with your entry. Is there a special date you would like to remember in 2023? This is a perfect way to do it 🙂 Dates are assigned on a first-come first-served basis so don’t delay!
You may also purchase your reserved calendar at this time for $20 fee per calendar plus a $4 flat shipping fee. They make great holiday gifts for fellow dog lovers! Let’s have some fun and see some great entries!

Prizes
- Photo with most votes gets the coveted Calendar cover. Bragging rights as “Top Doxie”
- The next 12 photos with the highest number of votes will be featured as a Monthly Cover with their stories published (if provided) along with their photo. Choice of featured month based on winning order.
- All photos entered in the contest will appear somewhere in the calendar.
Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet’s adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one’s birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet’s photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
