Adoptable Mix Stewart
This gentle soul that deserves a loving family to be with. He needs a patient owner who can take him out frequently to do his business in order to keep him from marking inside the home, although he has now been fixed, so we expect training to go much easier from this point on. Stewart enjoys walks and does very well on the leash and harness.
He also tries to jump up on furniture, so ramps would be a big help. Stewart is a fast eater, so using a special bowl that slows him down would be helpful. He is not aggressive and does well with bathing and having his nails cut.
He is a fast eater and will try to eat from someone else’s dish but he’s not aggressive with toys or food. Stewart isn’t shy or timid. He is friendly but not the first one running to a new person.
Stewart likes to sleep on a pillow and a blanket, but he tends to move around at night. He doesn’t bury under a blanket like other doxies. He sniffs other dogs, then walks away as he’s so laid-back. He is calm and social. He likes to be near other dogs. He does not suffer from separation anxiety, and he has some experience with small children.
Stewart is a sweet, affection chill dude. He likes to cuddle and be near. He is gentle and quiet. He’s a pretty guy and is good about a bath and ok about nails. He just wants to be loved on.
