Meet Adoptable Mix Phoenix! Phoenix is 11 months old, weighs approximately 18 pounds, and can’t wait to meet her forever family. This sweet little pup loves going for walks, running around the yard, cuddling under the covers, and getting all the belly rubs her heart desires. She will make a great companion for her forever person.

Phoenix does well with small dogs, she lives with two dachshunds in her foster home and became best friends with them in no time! She does well with dogs that are bigger than her as well. She is a super friendly pup who enjoys being around other pups, no matter their size. We are unsure how Phoenix would do around cats as she hasn’t been around any since coming to the rescue. Phoenix does great with children who are respectful of her boundaries.

Phoenix does well on leash and loves to go for walks! She has a lot of energy so an adopter who will continue to give her lots of exercise will be ideal. She also loves to run around the yard to get her energy out, so an adopter with a fenced in backyard is ideal for her. She is mostly house-trained and has done a very good job with this in her foster home. She is not crate-trained as the use of a crate hasn’t been needed in her foster home. She has shown no food or toy aggression while in her foster home.

Phoenix shows no signs of separation anxiety, she doesn’t mind spending some time away from her people. She is not a big barker and really only barks when other dogs start. She has no medical issues and is healthy as can be.

Adoptable Mix Phoenix – 11 mos, 18 lbs.
Phoenix sleeps in the big bed with her humans at night and loves to be tucked in under the covers! Her ideal adopter will be someone who will let her stay in the big bed with them all night long. She does great for car rides and enjoys meeting new people and new pups. She can be a little shy with new people but warms up pretty quickly. Adoption fee $350
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
