Adoptable Mix Munchkin – Adopted

Adoptable Mix Munchkin

Adoptable mix Munchkin is ready to find her forever home. Munchkin does well with other small, low energy dogs. She does not really play with other dogs but does not mind co-existing with them as long as they respect her personal space.

We are unsure how Munchkin does with larger dogs or cats. Munchkin will require a home without small children due to her skittishness. When meeting new people, it takes Munchkin a while to become comfortable due to being failed by humans in the past.

Even though she’s a young pup, she does very well on the leash. She is fully house trained and she does well being in her playpen. She considers her pen her safe space and will often go to her pen on her own when she wants to relax and spend some quiet time alone, so it will be important for her to have access to a space in the home that is just hers.

Munchkin hardly ever barks, only every once in a while to let you know that she needs to go outside! She does very well in the car and seems to really enjoy car rides. She has not shown food or toy aggression while in her foster home.

Currently, Munchkin sleeps on a dog bed in her playpen. She would definitely prefer this type of sleeping arrangement in her forever home, at least until she’s super comfortable with her pawrents! We aren’t sure exactly what Munchkin’s past entailed, but we do know that it traumatized her quite a bit. It will take time and effort to get Munchkin to trust you, but it is so worth it.

Once Munchkin feels comfortable with you, she is the happiest little pup around you and loves spending time in your lap getting pets. Munchkin shows no signs of separation anxiety, she actually genuinely enjoys her alone time and being curled up in her dog bed and blankets.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
