Adoptable Mix Annette – ADOPTED

Adoptable Mix Annette

Adoptable Mix Annette gets along with other dogs, due to being a stray and then in the humane society is shy and timid with everything until she feels safe being around them.

She does get a bit possessive with her favorite person. This sweet little beauty will need some understanding as she settles in. Within a little more than a week, she has settled much better into her foster home.

Adoptable Mix Annette

Although she hasn’t been around big dogs while in our care, she was previously held at the Humane Society where it was reported that she socialized fine with dogs of all sizes. It is unknown as to how she feels about cats. Coming from a shelter and into a brand new situation is a lot for them at times. Fortunately, she is ready to settle into her forever home.

Adoptable Mix Annette

She will need someone who understands her alpha tendancies and/or insecurities and can take the time to make her feel comfortable and understand her secure role in the family.

Annette is showing no signs of food or toy aggression and is house trained. She sleeps next to her fosters bed in a doggy bed or she also sleeps with her foster. Car rides have not been a problem!

The same shyness and timidness that she originally shows with new dogs is the same when presented with new people. Fortunately, she warms up quickly once she understands all is well. Her foster says she is friendly when meeting people, just shy.

Adoptable Mix Annette

Not an excessive barker, Annette is only barking at normal things, like when other dogs happen to bark or she sees people nearby outside the house. Older children in an adoptive family should be fine, younger kids might scare her.

A calm atmosphere is important, especially for shelter/stray dogs who have been through unknown trauma. The fact she is house-trained though, means she must have had some training.

Annette loves to go for walks and is great on the leash! She has already been, spayed, microchipped and had all her shots.

Adoptable Mix Annette

In our care she has received: Vet Check, Skin treatments/ infections – may need continued skin medication

Every dog who is rescued by Low Rider is fully vetted and receives the care they need to gain a new “leash” on life! If you can assist with vetting expenses, it is greatly appreciated!

 Annette

Adoptable Mix Annette is a sweet, beautiful, young dog, who just wants to be loved on. Annette is very clingy with her favorite people and will sometimes be a little possessive with them. She is hungry for attention. An understanding of or willingness to learn about shelter/stray dog adoption is helpful as she may take time to settle in. We believe that this youngster will be a terrific addition to most any household who is willing to help her adjust properly. This precious girl needs exercise, a gentle dog friend, and loving paw-rents! Adoption fee $300
