Introducing Adoptable Dachshunds Charli and Josie, the perfect bonded pair! Charli and Josie are very sweet seniors searching for their forever home together. If you are looking for a pair of very well-behaved pups who want nothing more than to spend their days relaxing cuddled up watching TV, look no further.
Charli and Josie get along great with other dogs, no matter their size. We are unsure how they would do around cats as they have not interacted with cats while in their foster home, but we think they would do okay as long as the cats were respectful of their personal space. We are unsure how they would do with children of any age as they have not been exposed to children of any age while in their foster home, but we think they would do okay as long as the children were gentle with them and respectful of their space.
Each do great on leash and enjoy their walks. Charli is a bit slower due to poor eyesight, so she doesn’t want to walk as far as her sister does but still loves a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. She is 12 years old and 23 pounds. Josie is a bit quicker and really looks forward to her longer walks each day. Both girls are fully house trained, however it may take Charli longer to adjust in a new home due to her vision problems. We are unsure if either of the girls are crate trained as a crate has never had to be used in their foster homes. With how laid back they are, they’ve never given their foster mom a reason to not let them free roam!
Both girls love their dog beds but they love sleeping in the big bed with the humans too! Josie especially loves to cuddle. Both girls enjoy car rides and do well with meeting new people and new dogs. Charli and Josie show no signs of separation anxiety or anxiety in general and are not big on barking. These girls have so many amazing traits that will make them the perfect additions to their forever family.

In our care, Charli received all of the following: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Minor Surgery (such as removal of benign cyst), Major Surgery – IVDD, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal)
In our care, Josie received all of the following: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
