Adoptable Dachshund Rascal Has been ADOPTED! Yay Rascal! He’s a distinguished gentleman with the wisdom of age, yet the spunk of a youngster! His foster mom sometimes calls him “little Rascal” because he is such a fun little guy.
He loves going for walks, chasing lizards in the backyard, chewing his bone and playing a short game of fetch in the house. He also enjoys the company of his foster brother and sister, so he does will with other dogs.
He sleeps in his own bed and every night when his foster Mom tucks him in (loves to be covered up) he dreams of his perfect forever home.
Adoptable Dachshund Rascal
He likes a home that is either an older person or couple who are home a lot. Rascal loves to sit with you on the couch, snuggle and keep you company. It is also important for his new home to keep a regular schedule. He gets a little anxious when unsure of what is going on, so a regular schedule helps him feel more secure.
Rascal loves to be outside. His perfect home would either have a fenced yard or at least a porch area and his family would enjoy sitting outside a little each day with him. He also really wants a home with another dog. He loves having the foster siblings and they keep him company when his foster parents have to leave. He runs around together with his siblings, plays and snuggles.
Rascal is 13 years old, but young at heart and in good health. He is a healthy 20 lbs.
