All dachshunds are stubborn and need training. Some more than others. Some….even a LOT more than those … MEET Adoptable dachshund mix MILO! Great news – Milo is now Pending adoption to his forever home.
Milo is a young (only 1 year old weighing only 9 pounds) beautiful, energetic dachshund who is under the impression that he is in charge. He needs an experienced dachshund owner to train him to understand that he is NOT. It’s important for his own well-being, as well as for his owner that he begins receiving this training as soon as possible. He’s happy, healthy, fun, LOVES his person, but has NO tolerance of other dogs.
We’re not suggesting he be an only dog forever, but he needs a strong leader in his owner that will dedicate time and patience to teach him how to tolerate other dogs. We’re looking for someone who is an experienced dog owner and doesn’t currently have a dog, someone who is willing to commit to Milo’s training and can be patient and loving in the process. Milo needs that special someone who has extra time to work with him as it will change the outcome of his future.
He is smart, mischievous, and extremely stubborn! It will take time, work, and understanding. Please do not apply to adopt him if you’re not willing and able to commit to his training. We strongly believe that he WILL BE an incredible and well-behaved dog – once he has the necessary training. It is our desire for him (and you) to enjoy a productive relationship. This is what he DESERVES, and we here at Low Rider are in search of nothing less than exactly that for him.
