Adoptable Dachshund Forrest is one cool dog. He gets along well meeting new dogs, cats and people. Foster mom says he is submissive in these situations and doesn’t show any aggression towards other dogs and doesn’t pay attention to cats. We are unsure of how Forrest is around small children.
This boy doesn’t mind car rides either! He will sit in his car seat next to you and chill. Forrest enjoys going on walks, but he does need some more training using a leash and harness.
Forrest is just over one years old. Foster mom is working on him with house training. He currently uses a potty pad first thing in the morning but still has accidents in the house. Adoptive family must continue training Forrest.
When left home alone, Forrest is comfortable in his crate. He currently sleeps in the big bed with his foster mom. Forrest shows no signs of separation anxiety or fear of loud noises/thunder. He is pretty content.
Adoptable Dachshund Forrest – 1.1 year, 11 lbs.
Forrest is the happiest of boys when he is around his person. He is a “velcro” dog, so if you are looking for your best pal, look no further. He loves attention and loves the snuggles! This sweetie pie is up to date on his vetting and is ready to settle into his forever home.
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
