Adoptable dachshund Brodie is pending has been adopted! Please see our list of other adoptable dogs HERE.
He is a strikingly handsome tri-color piebald boy who came to Low Rider as a stray, intact male with heartworm disease. Therefore, we feel that while he may have been loved, he did not receive much vetting care. We quickly learned that aside from the heartworms he was in very good health.
Low Rider jumped in to make sure he gets the care he needs. He has undergone heartworm treatment and has been neutered and he is ready for his forever home.
Brodie is a happy, active boy who loves to go on walks and to the dog park!
Adoptable dachshund Brodie is good with dogs and people (including older children) but he is not cat-friendly. He does not care for a crate either, but there is really no reason to crate him.
He is house trained, rides well in the car and enjoys playing with toys. He likes to sleep in the big bed with you and he is afraid of thunder.
If you think Brodie is the right dog for you, please fill out an adoption application with his name on it. If you have any further questions, you may reach her foster mom at [email protected]. Furthermore, you can see additional adoptable dogs here.
