A Second chance for Low Riders has taken place just this week! We were called in on an emergency situation to come and assist with a hoarding situation. All in all, there were 11 dogs who began their journey to a new leash on life!
A Second Chance for These 8 and 3 Puppies
Immediately, members of our team went to work. There was a lot to be done! While some took a road trip, others began searching for the right foster homes, working with the shelter, arranging for veterinary services for the initial intake, and so much more!
It’s been a wild ride but we’re so thrilled to be a part of it. We took in 11 dogs in one day! One needed some emergency surgery, others were very scared, but this was a special group of very sweet dogs.
They are now in foster homes. And Oreo, the little guy who had surgery, is due to be out very soon. He’ll be sent on to his foster home as soon as he is ready.

Each of the dogs has already undergone an initial exam with one of our Vets and the shelter of origin was good enough to update shots for us. Every little bit counts!
This is the second chance these sweet pups needed to live a rich and full life. They want love, nurturing, and care. Please take a moment to watch our video about this experience.
