Dachshund Mix Scooby Needs a Home

Little Scooby is super shy and does not care for men at first, but once he warms up, he’s a total love bug! When meeting new people or dogs, he barks protectively, and is timid and shy. Even though he’s shy, he doesn’t show any real signs of anxiety. He doesn’t bark excessively or react drastically to storms. Once Scooby gets to know you, he’s a pretty easy going dog!

Scooby is 95% house trained and is also crate trained. Even though traffic can scare him, he walks well on the leash and is searching for a home with a nice yard to play in. We believe he would be better in a house with no children and possibly a female dog to play with. He’s good with female dogs, but doesn’t do well with big dogs.

Scooby

Like all Low Rider dogs ready for adoption, he is neutered, and up to date on his shots. This little gentleman is good for baths and nail trims and is very well behaved. Scooby hasn’t been sleeping with his fosters, but he does well in his dog bed.

Scooby

You might be thinking Scooby is practically perfect, and of course, he is. But, Scooby can be aggressive with toys, well, when he’s protecting his toy anyway! See? Practically perfect.

He needs a little more work on house-training, although he’s considered fully trained. Having a regular schedule with plenty of trips outside are the key. Again, he’s also crate-trained!
