Adoptable Mix Ellie has been adopted. She is a sweet puppy and is learning quickly. She is completely housebroken and very loving. She barely sheds. She loves to run and play and does well on 3 legs.

The only excessive barking this dog does is when she’s barking at squirrels and big dogs who might go near mom or steal toys or food. She’s constantly looking for and trying to chase squirrels! It’s best to keep this three-legged wonder on a leash and harness!
Ellie has tolerated small dogs better than big dogs. She growls and snaps initially when another dog approaches her food or toys. She isn’t shy or timid, Ellie adjusted to her new surroundings quickly.
She’s crate-trained and spends 2-3 hours at a time in a crate. Staying in bed to sleep as long as possible makes her happy. Ellie enjoys sleeping with her foster parents in the bed.
Ellie weighs 12 pounds and a young puppy under a year old.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
